It's always a financial struggle to house, feed, spay, neuter, vaccinate and provide for the 200 cats in the shelter and the many cat colonies in the municipality but somehow we manage through the generosity of our members, volunteers and those with a soft spot for cute kitties! ![]()
Right now we are in desperate need of funds. We have our monthly food deliveries coming this week, we paid our vet bills and we are dangerously low on funds. ![]()

Adoption of the week: This regal and elegant girl is LISSY, a three year old kitty who came to the shelter with her kittens. LISSY can be a bit reserved around children and dogs but does well with other cats. LISSY needs some space to get used to her surroundings but will make a wonderful pet in the right home. Adoption of the week: VINGA is a beautiful tricolour girl who has really come out of her shell since being with us. She was half feral when she arrived at the shelter but has shown herself to be affectionate and trusting of humans. VINGA is six years old, and is good with cats, dogs and children.
